1242 1940 (22 Jan) Neth Indies - Australia KNILM Bali crash large cover (265x175mm, centre fold etc), endorsed "By Qantas", franked 1G & 60c -others floated away. Good strike of "Recovered From Lost Flying Boat" cachet. The plane was Lockheed PK-AFO, a land plane (not a flying boat) which crashed on landing in Bali. Eight people were killed & one injured. This camp (actually a mansion house) only housed about 50 German officers & their batmen, so mail from here would be very scarce.
