The research unit of UNINETTUNO focuses his studies on Lie algebraic techniques that have been largely used by physicists to obtain ex-plicit analytic solutions to a number of differential equations. While a more natural approach to construct solutions to differential equations is based on a number of approximation methods, in particular numerical methods, it is still important in many problems to have solutions in an analytic form.
