Lucia-Luminiţa CIUCĂ is a PhD student in the first year of study at Doctoral School of Socio-Humanities, Faculty of Letters, “Dunărea de Jos” University of Galati, where she is currently conducting research for a thesis on The Memoir/Travel Writing in the Nineteenth and Twentieth Centuries Romanian Literature. An Imagological and Narrative-Specular Approach. The research areas tackled in the scientific endeavour are: History of Romanian literature (19^th and 20^th centuries), Romanian discourse of criticism (19^th and 20^th centuries), Romanian culture and identity, Poetics and rhetoric of the biographic genre.
