(b) Research Experience : 31 years since 1985 including doctoral research.

(c) Experience in Guiding Research : Guiding and supervising doctoral research and M.Sc. projects since 1992. 21 students have already received Ph.D. degree under my guidance, and a dozen of M.Sc. dissertations completed since 1997 when M.Sc. project was introduced in Gauhati University. Two students have submitted thesis recently and three students are preparing thesis. In addition 08 doctoral students are working under my supervision and guidance. Several students from outside the university did join my research group for their summer projects in the past. This year three students from Jorhat Institute of Science & Technology, Jorhat have completed their summer training recently.
