Exploration of the central position the styles occupy in the field of interior design is aimed throughout this course. An in-depth study of the influential developments of styles in the contemporary history of interior architecture will be addressed. Discrimination and comparison between styles, trends, and fashion in interior design will be clarified; and emphasis will be placed on keeping the students in touch with the current trends and fashions in this field. Meanwhile, it is intended to habituate the students to apply the acquired characteristics of these styles, trends and fashions to their design projects by presenting small scale design examples.
