Exploration of a concept regarding the investigation of meaning of “structures” is aimed throughout this course. The main topics discussed in the course are: The basic terminology and classification of structural systems; loads on building structure according to load transferring peculiarities; structural requirements; relationship between natural and man-made structural form; and basic philosophical concepts of structural design.
