It was communicated to the parent bodies during the joint meeting on Thu 14:30 that it is planned to progress with an AVC extension for the alternative depth information SEI message. This was agreed.

2. MV-HEVC / 3D-HEVC Conformance (1)

This contribution reports a cross-check result of test bitstreams for MV-HEVC conformance by an alternative decoder. The decoder was implemented independently with the reference software. All conformance stream can be decoded, which hash value by the decoder is matched with that in the stream.

The decoder has independent implementation of the following building blocks:

- transform and prediction stages

- high-level syntax for MV-HEVC

Entropy decoding re-uses parts of the reference software.
