1.1.1.1.1.1.1.1.9JCT3V-L0023 AHG4: Coded Materials for MV-HEVC Verification Testing [S. Shimizu (NTT)] [late] [miss]
This document reports simulation results for MV-HEVC, Simulcast HEVC, and MVC in preparation for verification testing of MV-HEVC. As codecs, HTM version 14.1 was used for MV-HEVC and Simulcast HEVC while JM version 18.6 was used for MVC.
The figure below shows the RD curves obtained by the coding experiments. Encodings which have almost same PSNR values were selected for subjective viewing. The summary of bitrates and PSNR values on the selected encodings can be found in the first table below. The next table after that shows BD rates of MV-HEVC relative to either MVC or Simulcast HEVC.

Sequences are uploaded to the computer. Player & script have to be set up.
Viewing is planned to be performed Wednesday/Thursday.
