Significant improvements were introduced in the CDVS Test Model, including:
New example applications have been provided in the CDVS_applications directory:

simpleextract.cpp - extract a CDVS descriptor from a JPEG image;

batchextract.cpp - parallel extraction of CDVS descriptors from a directory containing JPEG images into an output directory;

simplematch.cpp - match and localize two CDVS descriptors;

simpleretrieve.cpp - takes as input arguments two directories: the first containing the reference images, and the second containing the query images. It builds a DB using the reference images, then encode all images in the query directory and use them as queries in a loop of retrieval operations.

conformance.cpp - performs CDVS conformance testing; replaces the cdvsdiff.cpp code. This tool is described in detail in another input document.
Changes were made in the MATLAB interface: the code stored in CDVS_applications/Matlab uses the CDVS Library to make the CDVS functions available in Matlab has been enhanced.
Small changes were made in the CDVS library, mainly in Project2D
None of the changes affect the results, which are the same as for TM13; tiny improvement in localisation for 512B observed due to a bug fix.
The crosscheck in M36766 confirms the results.
