PPS: Picture parameter set (as in AVC and HEVC).
QM: Quantization matrix (as in AVC and HEVC).
QP: Quantization parameter (as in AVC and HEVC, sometimes confused with quantization step size).
QT: Quadtree.
RA: Random access – a set of coding conditions designed to enable relatively-frequent random access points in the coded video data, with less emphasis on minimization of delay (contrast with LD).
