| Low Complexity Decorrelator
Julien Robilliard, FhG, presented proposed text for the USAC DIS that specifies that the decorrelator filter must be real and may optionally be complex-valued. The process of determining the real or complex filter coefficients is normative. This slightly modified text for this CE has been captured in a revised version of m19314, “Finalization of CE proposal on lower-complexity decorrelator in USAC” and uploaded to the MPEG document server.
It was the consensus of the Audio subgroup to adopt into the USAC DIS the changes specified in the updated version of the document m19314 pending the drafting of an introductory sentence in the DIS commenting on the multiple decoding options that are given to an implementer.
