Two joint meetings with the JTC1 SG on Digital Content Management and Preservation (DCMP) were held. The SG is looking for archiving digital media. A container format as well as retrieval methods are required. At the first meeting, MPEG explained technology potentially relevant to this topic including Digital Item, Media Coding and MPEG Query. At the second joint meeting, JTC1 SG on DCMP thanked MPEG for its information.
