The contribution suggests numerous editorial changes to the 13818-1-PDAM6 text. In addition, it proposes that the PDAM text mandate that Systems PES packet bits be configured to signal a 3D Audio random access point. The presenter received valuable comments from Systems experts and will incorporate those into a Study On document.
Other Audio/Systems contributions were reviewed and there was valuable discussion with Systems experts. Audio experts will continue to discuss.
Phase I Text/Software Issues
The contribution proposes corrections to the decoding process of dynamic object priority. It notes that the current algorithm specified in the DIS text permits a integer+fractional value for dynamic object priority. The Chair confirmed that possible changes will be considered at the next meeting and the presenter agreed to bring the proposal to the next meeting. However, the Chair noted that it might be that the decoder would work without the proposed change.
