It was the consensus of the Audio subgroup to issue this contribution as an output document. The Chair noted that most or all of the proposals are editorial in nature, in that they clarify what the specification already says, or how it relates to a companion specification. National Bodies are encouraged to review the information in the contribution when casting their ballot on the DRC DIS.

Software for MPEG-D DRC RM4

The contribtion reports on code changes to:
Remove obsolete modules
Add new “helper functions” to aid in integrating the DRC functionality with the MPEG-H 3D Audio reference software.
Simplify encoder API
The contribution will be an output document with the new source code as a zip archive in the document zip archive. The DRC Reference Software will remain at WD status. The presenter suggested that it might progress to PDAM at the next meeting.
