An activity that I like to do in my school after finishing school is
playing badminton which I started to do since I was in 6
th
grade.
It is actually a badminton class, so we have teachers and other students too. We
practice badminton here for an hour. Sometimes, we even stay there for another
half an hour.
Just like tennis, you can play badminton as a singles match
or doubles match. The rules are pretty much the same as tennis. The only
difference is that the
badminton shuttlecock
is lighter than the tennis ball, thus,
it requires less strength.
Due to my
short-sightedness
, I am not very good at playing this game but I enjoy
it anyway. Firstly, it helps keep me fit. In addition, I can train my eyes to look further
and faster, and it
quickens my reflexes
. Last but not least, it helps me
a lot in
improving my
teamwork skills.
