) Ask students if they’ve ever been to a
sleepover at someone’s house or somewhere else.

Tell students they’re going to read a letter from one boy
who was on this sleepover. Encourage students to guess
what city the children were in, what they took with them,
what they did, and if they slept much. Elicit some ideas
and write them on the board.
