Listen. Stop me when I say something false.
Tell a
story
about your vacation, using the simple past. Include
true and false sentences (e.g
., In the summer, I went to
Laredo. The weather was cold and snowy.
)
and show
photographs. The students raise their hands to stop you
when they think they’ve heard something false. If they’re
right, they get a point. If they’re wrong, you get a point.
