1 Listen and look. •
Play the recording. Students listen and look at the
photographs. Play it again, pausing to ask questions.
CD 1 : 1 6 Alex: OK, Pedro. Do you have everything for our
camping trip?
Pedro: Yes, I think so. Here’s the backpack.
Alex: What about a sleeping bag?
Pedro: Yes, here it is.
Alex: Do you have a blanket?
Pedro: Yes, I have this picnic blanket.
Pedro: And here’s my flashlight. We need this when
it’s dark.
Alex: Yes. And do you have your water bottle?
Pedro: Yes, I have a new water bottle – here it is!
Alex: What about for mealtimes? Do you have a bowl
for breakfast?
Pedro: Yes, I have this bowl. I like having cereal for
breakfast. And I have a plate for my lunch and dinner.
Alex: Good idea. Do you have a cup for drinks?
Pedro: Yes, I do.
Alex: OK. And do you have a map?
Pedro: Yes, I do.
Alex: Good. I think that’s everything.
Pedro: Um … Alex?
Alex: Yes?
Pedro: We need a tent!
Alex: Oh, yes!
