  • Planned and coordinated TB and HIV/AIDS programs and its activities at Town Health Office

  • Monitored the implementation process of TB and HIV/AIDS programs using Health Management Information System (HMIS) performance indicators

  • Provided technical and programmatic oversight of key components of HIV/AIDS and TB program activities to health facilities within the town health office

  • Organized and facilitated voluntary HIV counseling and testing campaign for key/priority populations

  • Developed coordinated programs for the delivery of HIV and AIDS educational services at schools

  • Facilitated sample collected for MDR-TB presumptive cases and sent to Regional Reference Laboratory for Gene-xpert and drug susceptibility testing

  • Collected External Quality Assurance (EQA) slide and filled check list for standard of care from health facilities and transported the EQA slide to Adama Hospital Medical College quarterly

  • Maintained and analyzed data and generated monthly, quarterly and annual reports

  • Identified community agencies and resources which provide services to orphan and vulnerable children, established and maintained cooperative relationships with them
