Delegations of FTP when they awarded trophies in UB rectorate

Student's Vocal Group of Faculty of Agricultural Technology would be the only one representative of Universitas Brawijaya (UB) on Pekan Seni Mahasiswa Regional (Peksiminal) of East Java Region 2012. They will compete with other universities representatives in East Java Region on 9 May 2012. This is due to these 10 students who join in Faculty of Agricultural Technology's vocal group was the winner of Peksima at UB level. For a week ahead, their vocal power would be improved in order to get more attractive performance during regional competition.

Besides vocal group, Faculty of Agricultural Technology also the only one of UB's representative for male seriosa (Agustinus Wahyu P and Insan Kr. Amuda) on 10 May and colour photography (Irsyad Syawaluddin P) on 15 May at STIMIK STIKOM Surabaya. Totally, 17 Faculty of Agricultural Technology's students will represent UB on Peksiminal.

It's not overstatement if predicate of Art Champion goes to Faculty of Agricultural Technology during Peksima 2012. Since its contingent was succeed to perform their talents on five branches of art at once. They were The Winner of male poem (Try banuriawan), The Winner of Colour photography (Irsyad Syawaluddin P), The Winner of male seriosa (Agustinus Wahyu P) and Runner Up I of male seriosa (Insan Kr. Amuda), The winner of male dangdut (Try Banuriawan) and Runner up I female dangdut (Maftichatul Farichah), Runner up I male pop (Valens Ngali P) and the winner of vocal group (Bella Gloria, Nadia Aulia Izzaty, Mawar Sarastuti, Aldiah Yuanisa, Siti Destisa N, Prasetyo sonny saputro, Pandi Pasetyo, Kukuh Septa, Winda Rein, Christoper Caesar).

Vice Dean of Student affair Dr. Ir. Elok Zubaidah, MP mentioned her pride for the succees of her students. She specifically hoped, achievement atmosphere continues to grow and becoming references for the junior ones.

"These achievements can't be separated from student's hardwork especially under the student activities of art organization. Talents followed by motivation and commitment , supported by adequate facilities will help to improve achievements," she firmed.

Recorded Achievement in 8^th MTQ UB

Not only in art and reasoning the achievement reached by Students of Faculty of Agricultural Technology, but also in spirituality and religious event also. It was proven by their contingents who succeed to win during 8^th Musabaqoh Tilawatil Qur'an (MTQ) UB. The grand jury took into account to the contingent of faculty of agricultural technology as the winner of Tilawatil Qur'an, the winner of Arabic academic writing competition (Lomba Karya tulis Arab), the winner of English debate, runner up I of Arabic debate, runner up III of female khatil and runner up III of young da'i. Thus, Faculty of Agricultural technology was succeed to reach 3 champions and 6 trophies of 19 categories which competed on Wednesday-Friday (25-27/4).

"Hopefully this would become motivation for the students to be better and more passionate to deliver syi'ar Islam," faculty of agricultural technology's Vice Dean of student affair mentioned. [nok]
