Program rada i rezultati na projektu:

Znanstveno-istraživačka djelatnost na projektu u 2005. godini odvijala  se u području nelinearnih znanosti i primjena. Analizom višestrukih korelacija u nelinearnim sustavima kompleksne strukture istraživala se priroda dinamičkih fluktuacija. Ispitana je mogućnost primjene nelinearnih statističkih metoda i fraktalne analize u okviru  teorije kaosa na vremenske nizove u području  biomedicine i okoliša.

U 2005. godini postignuti su rezultati u području sljedećih istraživanja:

a) varijabilnost srčanog ritma sa strukturnim promjenama u vremenskim serijama EKG-a kod ishemijske bolesti srca (Physica. A 358 (2005) ; 505-515);

b) statistička svojstava kompleksnih mreža (Physica A 350 (2005) 657);

c) primijenjena nelinearnih statističkih metoda u analizi mjernih podataka iz biomedicine (Immuno-modulatory drugs / Kniewald, Zlatko (ur.), Medicinska naklada, Zagreb (2005) 83-95 & 113 – 129; Periodicum Biologorum. 107 (2005) ; 239-247 & 445 – 450)

d) u okviru čestične astrofizike visokih energija, ispitivana je mogućnost definiranja vremenskog operatora u kvantnom faznom prostoru (Concepts of Physics. 2 (2005) 49-57).

Research programme and results:

In 2005 the research activities within the Project were in the domain of nonlinear sciences and applications. By analysing the higher-order correlations in nonlinear systems with complex structures, we could study the nature of dynamical fluctuations. We also investigated the possibility of applications of nonlinear statistical methods and fractal analysis using chaos theory to biomedical and environmental problems.

Research results achieved in 2005 are in the following domains:

a) heart rate variability with structure changes in time series of ECG, application to ischemic heart (Physica. A 358 (2005) ; 505-515);

b) statistical properties of complex nets (Physica A 350 (2005) 657;

c) application of nonlinear statistical methods in analysis of biomedical and environmental data (Immuno-modulatory drugs / Kniewald, Zlatko (ur.), Medicinska naklada, Zagreb (2005) 83-95 & 113 – 129; Periodicum Biologorum. 107 (2005) ; 239-247 & 445 – 450)

d) within the high energy particle astrophysics, we investigated the possibility  of defining the time operator in quantum phase space  (Concepts of Physics. 2 (2005) 49-57).

Program rada i rezultati na projektu:

Studirani su nehomogeni i neizotropni kozmološki modeli sa vorticitetom i akceleracijom. Uloga tamne tvari analizirana je Press-Schechter formalizmom. Posebno je studirana ovisnost masenih funkcija haloa o srednjoj masenoj gustoći Svemira, Hubbleovoj konstanti, parametrima nehomogenosti, itd.



Research programme and results:

We studied inhomogeneous and anisotropic cosmological models with vorticity and acceleration. The role of the dark matter is analysed with the Press-Schechter formalism. The dependence of the halo mass functions on the mean cosmic density, Hubble constant, inhomogeneity parameters, etc are studied.
