Duties


The Industry Services & Numbering Section administers:

  • the Do Not Call Register (the DNCR) including administration of the DNCR regulatory framework, the annual cost-recovery review, and managing and ensuring DNCR operator compliance with the contract;

  • the Telecommunications Numbering Plan 2015 and the calculation and collection of the annual numbering charge; and managing and ensuring Numbering System contractor compliance with the contract. The Numbering System provides for the allocation, transfer and surrender of Australia’s telephone numbers; and

  • the Integrated Public Number Database, including administration of the IPND Scheme.

The Industry Services & Numbering Section are seeking a highly motivated person to support the Assistant Manager - Policy. You will be involved in a variety of tasks including cost-recovery reviews, contract management and the management and resolution of escalated enquires, providing comprehensive reporting and statistics, data analysis, identifying areas for continuous improvement and stakeholder liaison.



Eligibility


To be eligible for ongoing employment with the ACMA, applicants must be an Australian citizen.
To be eligible for non-ongoing employment with the ACMA, an applicant must have a legal right to work in Australia.
An applicant's suitability for employment with the ACMA will be assessed through a pre-employment screening process. This process will include a requirement for the applicant to undertake and satisfy an AFP National Police check and to complete a Health Declaration.

Non-ongoing opportunity will be offered for a specified term
Pn 1222 is available on an ongoing basis. Pn 647 is available on a non-ongoing basis for a period of up to 5 months with the possibility of extension. An order of merit may be established and used to fill similar ongoing and non-ongoing vacancies at this level. Non-ongoing vacancies filled from an order of merit may be offered as a specified term up to 18 months.

Duties


This position forms part of a small dynamic team working in a fast-paced environment that is responsible for the development and implementation of strategies to ensure the effective promotion and positioning of the Museum of Australian Democracy (MoAD) at Old Parliament House (OPH), its activities and products.
The successful applicant will develop and implement marketing campaigns that include creative campaign development, creative writing, design briefing, print production, media buying, direct marketing and social media. The occupant will assist in managing and championing the museum’s brand including the development of branding collateral and the implementation of the museum’s tourism initiatives.

Eligibility


The successful applicant must be:

  • An Australian Citizen

  • Willing to under go an Australian Government Security Clearance and maintain it at the baseline level.
