Duties
The Land Systems Program Office (SPO)
is part of the Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Electronic Warfare (ISREW) Branch within the Joint Systems Division of the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group. The ISREW- Land SPO is responsible for the acquisition and sustainment of the Australian Defence Force's inventory of Force Protection Electronic Countermeasure (FPECM). ISREW - Land SPO requires a Mechanical, Aeronautical or Mechatronics Engineer with experience in mechanical and systems engineering to assist with providing systems engineering support to projects managed by ISREW - Land SPO. Such support will include provision of engineering and technical advice such as the development of specifications, plans, requirements and other documents or the conduct of test and evaluation activities for the integration of FPECM equipment onto vehicles.
Qualifications/Experience Requirements:
The applicant must possess a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering under the Australian Qualifications Framework or comparable overseas qualification. The applicant must meet the eligibility requirements for any type of membership or registration by Engineering Australia.
Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at 'Negative Vetting Level 1'.
