Duties


The Land Systems Program Office (SPO) is part of the Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Electronic Warfare (ISREW) Branch within the Joint Systems Division of the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group. The ISREW- Land SPO is responsible for the acquisition and sustainment of the Australian Defence Force's inventory of Force Protection Electronic Countermeasure (FPECM). ISREW - Land SPO requires a Mechanical, Aeronautical or Mechatronics Engineer with experience in mechanical and systems engineering to assist with providing systems engineering support to projects managed by ISREW - Land SPO. Such support will include provision of engineering and technical advice such as the development of specifications, plans, requirements and other documents or the conduct of test and evaluation activities for the integration of FPECM equipment onto vehicles.

Eligibility


Qualifications/Experience Requirements:

The applicant must possess a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering under the Australian Qualifications Framework or comparable overseas qualification. The applicant must meet the eligibility requirements for any type of membership or registration by Engineering Australia.


Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at 'Negative Vetting Level 1'.

Duties


The CIED Acquisition Program within the ISREW Land System Program Office of CASG is seeking a Project Support Officer to assist in the delivery of its projects. The position will assist project managers with contract management, the budget and schedule management of multiple projects, updating project plans and reports, secretariat of governance meetings, conducting simple procurement and the general administration of project activities. The position is based in Canberra and will work in a broad team comprising APS and contractor personnel to ensure the capabilities are delivered to the ADF within operational requirements, budget and service agreements.
