Duties

The Opportunity

An opportunity exists for a highly motivated, dynamic professional to join PM&C as an APS5 Finance Business Partner. You will provide customer centric business analytics and high quality advice, proactively support stakeholder financial information needs, and enable informed decision making by stakeholders in order to achieve the outcomes of the Department.
Our Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter that is outcome orientated and operates at pace. As our Ideal candidate you will need a number of different skills and attributes, including:

• 
  Stakeholder management skills: High levels of stakeholder management and the ability to translate financial risks into business advice.
  
• 
  Financial Expertise: Currently studying towards CA/CPA qualification, or recently qualified.
  
• 
  Strong attention to detail: High levels of attention to detail and the ability to record information in an accurate and timely manner.
  
• 
  Strong presentational skills: Convey complex financial information in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders that may not possess a financial background.
  

You will also need to demonstrate that you possess the following attributes:

  Outcome orientated: High levels of drive, work with little supervision, with direction provided internally by the EL1 Finance Business Partner and Director. You will be required to deliver outcomes in line with set timeframes and report back to the relevant supervisor.

  Team player: The ability to work effectively as part of a team to ensure the goals of the whole team are met and other team members are supported.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this position you must be an Australian Citizen at the closing date of application.
The occupant must be able to obtain and maintain a Baseline level security clearance, or hold a current security clearance of an appropriate level.
