Duties




The Assistant Director – Quality Control in the Business Assurance and Compliance Branch will support operational activities that confirm the Agency’s quality assurance methods are functional and that information collected supports stakeholder expectation of quality decision making.


You will identify methods to assess performance and direct data gathering processes to measure service impacts as well as act on outcomes of performance measurement activities to ensure that customer service standards are met. With support of the Director, you will coordinate compliance processes such as data analysis and compliance intervention design.
This role requires demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of initiatives, strategies or methodologies relating to technical, IT, operational or service oriented matters.
Duties

  • Coordinate the development of tools and methodologies to support quality decision making through the delivery of templates, procedural guidance and support for quality control activities

  • Coordinate the development of performance indicators, metrics and reporting in partnership with stakeholders that provides evidence of quality standards and outcomes.

  • Manage compliance processes such as data analysis and compliance intervention design

  • Maintain expert knowledge in relevant areas and provide advice and technical expertise to guide project and program activities

  • Support the timely delivery of Executive, Board, and other stakeholders reports on the results of quality control activity.

  • Provide high level specialist technical/professional advice in regard to broader quality systems and provide input to the Quality and Sustainability activities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish joint program initiatives



Eligibility


Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police History check, and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship. Failure to do so may jeopardise your offer of employment.
Dependent on the role the appropriate working with children and/or vulnerable people checks may need to be undertaken as per State Legislation.

Notes


Please note, this role will be re-located to Geelong, Victoria (National Office) by July 2019. Non-ongoing opportunity will be offered for a specified term

This position will be offered for a specified term of up to 18 months, with the possibility of extension up to three years. This non-ongoing position may become ongoing.


Should the position become ongoing then the Order of Merit established through this selection process may be used to fill the vacancy on an ongoing basis.
