Duties
The Assistant Director, Quality Assurance within the Business Assurance and Compliance Branch will be responsible for working under the broad
direction of the Director, Quality Assurance to support the development, implementation and maintainence of a Quality Assurance Program to ensure the quality of service standards.
In this role, you will exercise a degree of independence in complex problem solving and issues management that impact on strategic or operational outcomes for the Agency. You will oversee, analyse
and report on risk management, audit or project outputs and identify opportunities to improve service delivery. You will be required to develop tools, procedural guidance and support for quality activities.
This role requires a leader who has demonstrated experience co-ordinating specialist project service providers, contractors or consultants as well as delivering programs and/or projects of significance, preferably within Public Sector assurance or fraud frameworks.
Duties

Support the design, development, coordination and implementation of the Agency’s Annual Quality Assurance Program.

Provide advice to Branch Directors on operational quality assurance strategies

Lead and support the timely delivery of Executive, Board, and other stakeholders reports on the results of quality assurance reviews and other business assurance activity.

Actively engage with stakeholders to support the management of recommendation and improvement strategies

Provide support to contracted services for the provision of Quality Assurance reviews
Eligibility
Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police History check, and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship. Failure to do so may jeopardise your offer of employment.
Dependent on the role the appropriate working with children and/or vulnerable people checks may need to be undertaken as per State Legislation.

This position will be offered for a specified term of up to 18 months, with the possibility of extension up to three years.
This non-ongoing position may become ongoing. Should the position become ongoing then the Order of Merit established through this selection process may be used to fill the vacancy on an ongoing basis.
