ALTRAN Group support

How do you think you would use a year's free support from Altran if you won the 2004 Altran Foundation Award?

  1. General Conclusion

Clearly, our GCEPG Project is ambitious due to its scope and nature. Any one group, university, or national government cannot achieve it. The program will however need substantial collaborative contribution of ideas, expertise, technology resources, and money from multiple sources. We invite those who value the vision of this Globally Collaborative Environmental Peace Gaming to join us in this urgently necessary project for human survival.

  1. Desired Altran Support

(a) Advanced Internet with GRID Computer Networking Technology;

One or two competent Altran personnel with these knowledge will coordinate with the ELeGI group, not only merely interfacing various scattered dissimilar desktop computers in major European Union countries with Time Warp method, but also with socio-economic-environmental simulation models of those countries via available Internet.

(b) System Dynamics Simulation;

One or two competent Altran personnel with knowledge on the System Dynamics methodology will construct socio-economic-environmental simulation models of those countries, and work closely with the telecom experts mentioned above for integrating the models with the GRID technology.

(c) Workshops;

One or two competent Altran personnel with fluent English capability will organize workshops and meetings of ELeGI group members, academics of the European Union countries, the US and Japan, and later of other countries.
