Incomplete application shall be rejected.

NOTE : The air passages are to be booked directly on the National Carrier, i.e., Air India. EVEN TO PLACES WHERE AIR INDIA FLIGHTS DO NOT OPERATE, the passage is to be booked THROUGH AIR INDIA only. If the tickets cannot be booked through Air India, because Air India cannot provide tickets to the desired destination during the desired period, such a certificate should be obtained from Air India. In such a case, journey can be undertaken through any other Airlines, but the tickets are to be booked with the concerned Airline directly and not through any travel agent. The grant will be restricted to the following upper limits:

(a) Faculty members - ` 75,000

(b) PhD Students - ` 50,000
