2257 1870-71 Ceres Bordeaux issue set 1c-80c, some being better shades, all PROVISIONALLY ROULETTED. Superb fresh MLH, with pristine original gum, large margins with clear rouletting on all sides, plus all with nice strong colours. Yv ex39-49(var) cat €7000++ as normal imperfs, rouletted are listed & priced used on cover at 2-5 times normal covers, while they are unpriced in M condition! SG ex145-84(var) cat £5000++ as normal imperfs while rouletted are mentioned in footnote but unpriced. Great rarity for the specialist as only tiny number of sets are recorded & this may be the finest quality.
