Preaching of Islam To preach true way of life i.e. Islam, is one of the foremost duties of a Caliph. He paid special attention to it during his Caliphate. Although he was not able to conquer many regions during his Caliphate because of the civil war, yet a number of people accepted Islam because of the good treatment meted out to them. In Iran many peop’e accepted Islam due to his kindness with the public. Those who forsook Islam re-joined the faith because of Ali’s teachings.
Thus we see that Hazrat Ali (Rad.A) was a great administrator. He was one of the closest Companions of the Holy Prophet and possessed unparalleled courage, vigour and faith.
