Objectives of implementing the BPM concept:

  • Speed — reduction of process execution time due to regulation and automation of process steps, introduction of time limits for the execution of process steps;Quality — due to the transparency of business processes for all participants, regulation and monitoring tools, compliance with all stipulated rules is ensured;Indicator—based management - the execution of processes can be monitored through sets of process indicators, facilitating the analysis and optimization of the process based on the real values of indicators that:- reflect the costs of the process,- evaluate the execution time of the process;- calculate resource loading;Flexibility — the ability to achieve organizational flexibility of the company through the involvement of process participants in modeling and restructuring

Business modeling (business modeling)

  • Activities for the formation of models of organizations, including a description of business objects (departments, positions, resources, roles, processes, operations, information systems, information carriers, etc.) and an indication of the relationships between them.Various languages are used to graphically represent business processes, but UML and Business Process Modeling Notation are considered the most popular and suitableModeling and simulation of business processes are key methods for reengineering business processes (Business Process Reengineering) and the use of methodologies for continuous improvement of business processes, for example, such as Six-Sigma

Business logic

  • A set of rules, principles, and dependencies of the behavior of objects in the subject area (the area of human activity that the system supports).Business logic can be described as:
  • - text;
  • - conceptual analytical models of the subject area (ontology);
  • - business rules;
  • - a variety of algorithms;
  • - activity diagrams;
  • - graphs and diagrams of state transitions;
  • - business process models.
