TS-28 630 CONDUIT:
GENERAL: The work specified in this section consists of furnishing and the installation of conduit as indicated in the plans. Installation of conduit shall conform to the requirements of Sections 555 and 630 of the Florida Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, Dated 2010, the Florida Department of Transportation Design Standards, Dated 2010, and the Charlotte County Supplemental Specifications for Traffic Signal Installations, dated June 2013 and the Charlotte County Fiber Optic Specifications, dated April 2009 attached herein. The Contractor shall provide complete conduit systems for future use as shown on the drawings. All conduit systems shall terminate at a pull box. All conduit systems shall be complete with a fish tape and all necessary fittings, sweeps, pull boxes, hand holes, etc. Prior to final acceptance the Contractor shall locate the termination of the future conduit system on the Record Drawings. A future fiber optic conduit systems, which runs the entire length of the project is included in this project.
METHOD OF MEASUREMENT: The quantity of conduit as shown on the Bid Form is approximate and is given only as a basis of calculation for award of the Contract. The actual quantities may vary substantially from the estimated amount.
BASIS OF PAYMENT – Price and payment will be full compensation for all work specified in this Section, including furnishing and installing pipe or conduit, from plan point of beginning to plan point of ending at plan depth, removal of excavated materials and spoils, removal and disposal of drilling fluids, backfilling, and complete restoration of the site. Payment for conduit placed in the ground will be based on the horizontal path of the installed conduit as measured in a straight line between the centers of pull boxes, cabinets, poles, and the like. No allowance will be made for sweeps or vertical distances above or below the ground. Bundled product in a single bore will be paid for as a single bore based on the required drill bit head or back reamer head size. Separate payment shall not be made for individual products in a bundle. The installation and attachment of tracking conductors (wire or tape) will be included in the cost of the bore and will not be paid for separately. No payment will be made for failed bore paths, injection of flowable fill, products taken out of service or incomplete installations. No payment will be made for directional boring until a Bore Path Report has been delivered to the Engineer.

TS-29 632 SIGNAL CABLE:
GENERAL: The work specified in this section consists of furnishing and the installation of signal cable as indicated in the plans. Installation of cable shall conform to the requirements of Section 632 of the Florida Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, Dated 2010, the Florida Department of Transportation Design Standards, Dated 2010, and the Charlotte County Supplemental Specifications for Traffic Signal Installations, Dated June 2013 attached herein.
METHOD OF MEASUREMENT: The quantity of cable under this section is to be the needed quantity for the completion of the intersection. The payment units will be per intersection (PI)
BASIS OF PAYMENT: Payment will be full compensation for all work specified in this section, including all materials, labor, hardware, and incidental costs. Such price and payment shall constitute full compensation for all items and work described herein. Payment for cable shall be made under:

TS-30 635 PULL AND JUNCTION BOXES:
GENERAL: The work in this section consists of furnishing and the installation of pull boxes as indicated in the plans. Installation of pull boxes shall conform to the requirements of Section 635 of the Florida Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, Dated 2010, the Florida Department of Transportation Design Standards, Dated 2010, the Charlotte County Supplemental Specifications for Traffic Signal Installations, Dated June 2013, attached herein.
METHOD OF MEASUREMENT: The quantity of pull and junction boxes as shown on the Bid Form is approximate and is given only as a basis of calculation for award of the Contract. The actual quantities may vary substantially from the estimated amount.
BASIS OF PAYMENT: Payment will be full compensation for all work specified in this section, including all materials, elbows, sweeps, connection hardware, trenching, bedding, backfilling, restoration, and all incidental costs specified as being covered under this section shall be paid at the Contract unit price per each, completed and accepted. Such price and payment shall constitute full compensation for all items and work described herein. Payment for pull boxes shall be made under:

TS-31 639 ELECTRICAL POWER SERVICE:
GENERAL: The work in this section consists of furnishing and the installation of power service for the Traffic Signal at Edgewater Drive and Harbor Boulevard, Lift Station 139 at Edgewater Drive and Altoona Street, Lift Station 130 on Edgewater Drive at Sunrise Park, Roadway Lighting as shown on the plans and Irrigation Controllers as shown on the plans. EACH power service shall have a unique meter, so the power consumption can be metered for each usage. The Contractor shall be reimbursed for the cost of the installation charged by the power company. Reimbursement will be paid as part of the monthly Pay Request upon approval of invoices submitted by the Contractor to the County’s Representative. The Contractor is responsible for coordinating the establishment of the required power service installation. The Contractor shall include the power service installation and any power company lead time into the Contractor’s Construction Schedule. The power service shall be in the Contractor’s name until; the Contractor transfers the power service to the County upon Substantial Completion. All costs associated with establishing the required power services not included in the reimbursement costs shall be incidental to the Contract.
The installation of the electrical service shall conform to the requirements of Section 639 of the Florida Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, Dated 2010, the Florida Department of Transportation Design Standards, Dated 2010, and the Charlotte County Supplemental Specifications for Traffic Signal Installations, Dated June 2013 attached herein.
