TS-32 641 PRESTRESSED CONCRETE POLE:

GENERAL: The work in this section consists of furnishing and the installation of a 26’ pre-stressed concrete pole for an electrical service pole application. All poles must come from those listed on the Florida Department of Transportation Qualified Products List.


METHOD OF MEASUREMENT: The quantity of pre-stressed concrete poles as shown on the Bid Form is approximate and is given only as a basis of calculation for award of the Contract. The actual quantities may vary substantially from the estimated amount.
BASIS OF PAYMENT: Payment will be full compensation for all work specified in this section. Such price and payment shall constitute full compensation for all items.

TS-33 646 ALUMINUM SIGNAL POLES:

GENERAL: The work in this section consists of furnishing and the installation of aluminum signal poles as indicated in the plans. Installation and materials of aluminum signal poles shall conform to the Charlotte County Supplemental Specifications for Traffic Signal Installations, Dated June 2013 attached herein.


METHOD OF MEASUREMENT: The quantity of aluminum signal poles as shown on the Bid Form is approximate and is given only as a basis of calculation for award of the Contract. The actual quantities may vary substantially from the estimated amount.
BASIS OF PAYMENT: Payment will be full compensation for all work specified in this section, including the pole, collar, anchor bolts, concrete foundation, labor, connection hardware, and all incidental costs specified as being covered under this section shall be paid at the Contract unit price per each, completed, tested and accepted. Such price and payment shall constitute full compensation for all items and work described herein. Payment for the assemblies shall be made under:

TS-34 649 MAST ARM ASSEMBLIES:

GENERAL: The work in this section consists of furnishing and installation of signal mast arm assemblies without luminary arms as indicated in the plans and as described within this section. Installation of mast arm assemblies shall conform to the requirements of Section 649 of the Florida Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, Dated 2013, the Florida Department of Transportation Design Standards, Dated 2013, Index No. 17743, 17745 and 17748, and the Charlotte County Supplemental Specifications for Traffic Signal Installations, Dated June 2013 attached herein.


Mast arm assembly shop drawings must be submitted prior to any new mast arm pole installation. All shop drawings must be FDOT approved and shown on the Qualified Product List (QPL) index. Notwithstanding the QPL approval, all dimensions shown on the FDOT Standard Drawings shall be met and no deviations will be allowed.
The Contractor shall include within the price of the mast arm assembly the cost to hand dig the diameter of each foundation locations to a depth of 48” below existing grade to verify no underground utility conflicts exist. The Contractor shall not order the mast arm poles until field verification of each foundation has been performed.
METHOD OF MEASUREMENT: The quantity of mast arm assemblies as shown on the Bid Form is approximate and is given only as a basis of calculation for award of the Contract. The actual quantities may vary substantially from the estimated amount.
BASIS OF PAYMENT: Payment will be full compensation for all work specified in this section, including all materials, labor, connection hardware, steel, concrete, anchor bolts, shortening of arms, modified end caps, and incidental costs specified as being covered under this section shall be paid at the Contract unit price per each, completed and accepted. Such price and payment shall constitute full compensation for all items and work described herein. Payment shall be made under:

TS-35 650 TRAFFIC SIGNAL:

GENERAL: The work specified in this section consists of furnishing and the installation of vehicular signal assemblies as indicated in the plans. Installation of vehicular signal assemblies shall conform to the requirements of Section 650 of the Florida Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction dated 2010 and the Charlotte County Supplemental Specifications for Traffic Signal Installations, dated June 2013 attached herein.


METHOD OF MEASUREMENT: The quantity of traffic signals as shown on the Bid Form is approximate and is given only as a basis of calculation for award of the Contract. The actual quantities may vary substantially from the estimated amount.
BASIS OF PAYMENT: Payment will be full compensation for all work specified in this section, including LED indicators, backplates, visors, and all other labor/materials necessary for a complete and accepted installation. Payment shall be paid at the Contract unit price per assembly, completed, tested and accepted. Such price and payment shall constitute full compensation for all items and work described herein. Payment for traffic signals shall be made under:

TS-36 653 PEDESTRIAN SIGNAL ASSEMBLIES:

GENERAL: The work specified in this section consists of furnishing and the installation of pedestrian signal assemblies as indicated in the plans. Installation of pedestrian signal assemblies shall conform to the requirements of Section 653 of the Florida Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction dated 2010, the Florida Department of Transportation Design Standards, Dated 2010, and the Charlotte County Supplemental Specifications for Traffic Signal Installations, Dated June 2013 attached herein.


METHOD OF MEASUREMENT: The quantity of pedestrian signals as shown on the Bid Form is approximate and is given only as a basis of calculation for award of the Contract. The actual quantities may vary substantially from the estimated amount.
