The actuality of this work is stipulated by the fact that the status of foreign languages in XXI century is very important issue in the system of world education. Studying foreign languages, particularly English, as the means of international communication, is one of the main factors in formation new relationships and norms of behavior in the modern conditions of human life. And it is very important to work out effective methods of creative and critical thinking of children with English literature in the classroom.
The object of this study is the process of development of critical thinking.
Subject of the study - methods of development of critical thinking in conditions formation of English-speaking communicative competence in the main school.
The goal is to propose on the basis of the studied theoretical provisions appropriate methods of work on the development of critical thinking elementary school students in English lessons.
In order to achieve this goal, the work has the following objectives:

  consider the concept of thinking, its types, psychological and pedagogical questions of its development;
  
• 
  to study the features of the formation of communicative competence on English lessons;
  
• 
  consider the need to develop the thinking of students in the classroom in English;
  
• 
  to study the ways of developing the thinking of students in the formation English-speaking communicative competence in basic school;
  
• 
  to develop techniques aimed at the development of thinking in formation of English-speaking communicative competence.
  

In order to effectively solve the tasks, solve the problems of research and verification hypotheses used methods of scientific research:
Theoretical: analysis and interpretation of domestic and foreign philosophical, normative, psychological-pedagogical, linguodidactic and methodical literature; analysis and synthesis of advanced domestic, foreign and personal pedagogical experience on the problem research;
