Other arrogant diplomatic language was found in the archives of 1933-1939, in the form of classified information sent by Percy Loraine to London, who was British ambassador to Turkey, with the note 'on Leading Turkish Personalities'. The letter had unofficial information about 96 administrators, journalists and intellectuals of the newly founded Republic of Turkey:
