Indicate any additional benefits and spin-offs expected from the project.
1-The access to the general part of our web site: http://www.eaeeie.org/theiere/ is granted to the general public and specially to those involved in the teaching of Electrical and Information Engineering.
2- A databases on courses available in the European Union, with search and indexing facilities will be completed.
A web of links will exist in a European context enabling the fast retrieval of information on the curricular structure, pedagogical content, co-operation university-industry of several European universities in the specific field of Electrical and Information engineering.
The harmonisation that will result from our activity is an essential step for the development of accreditation criteria and establishment of common certification procedures between Higher Education Institutions and professional engineering associations.
Our website with all the developed material can be effective tool to promote the attractiveness of the European Higher Education Area, mainly due to the inclusion in our network of partners that come from other continents (Morocco and Turkey).
The direct beneficiaries of this TN are:
- People involved in the field of Electrical and Information Engineering teaching in European higher Education institutions. They can use the results of our reflections, and also the pedagogical tools we develop inside the TN, and become members of the network,
- People involved inside the thematic network. It's for us a continuous training both in term of adapting our curricula to the needs, dealing with the use of new technologies in teaching, working with European partners in a wide European approach,
- Professional engineering associations, Life Long Learning institutions.
- Students and learners in European universities.
- The set of tools developed in the project can also act as a virtual library freely usable within LLL (Life Long Learning) /ODL (Open Distance Learning) context enabling the training and knowledge updating of a large number of students and engineering professionals in Europe.
