The portal aims at helping students who want to find some semesters or even complete curricula abroad, and also colleagues who wish to have a better understanding of the structures and curricula available in Europe.
This tool reflects the project deliberations on the Bologna-BMD scheme. This work was coordinated by Prof. Jean-Marc Thiriet and Pascal Gend from Université Henri Poincaré , Nancy, France)
It has been proposed to characterise the various diploma/curricula by a set of keywords.
Each curriculum is described by:
-
5 to 7 keywords to characterise specialities in EIE, accompanied with percentages, linked to the time necessary to work on that field (module) within the curriculum or linked with the number of credits assigned to that module,
-
3 to 5 keywords characterising some general elements and non-scientific backgrounds.
These sets of disciplines/keywords help to elaborate a common glossary. It is the core of the search engine. Associated percentages give more effective results.
-
Specify and justify the assessment criteria and procedure adopted and the actors involved in the internal quality evaluation of your project.
The partners were involved in the process both as contributors to the outcomes as well as evaluators of the results. Peer review and assessment was done at several stages.
A complete monitoring of Task 2 results was done by Professor Montse Novell from the Univesidad Politecnica de Catalunya, Barcelona , Spain and reports were issued to all the partners. Feedback was asked at the next meeting, so internal monitoring and evaluation developed successfully inside the partnership.
Conformity to standards and quality issues were dealt by the Quality Control Group: Univ. Ilmenau (DE), UP Valencia (ES), Univ. of Sheffield (UK), Univ. Ulm (DE) and Politechnika Krakowska (PL), together with a standardisation group headed by University of York ( AE. Ward) and Technical University of Sofia ( E. Shoikova) and Support groups on didactics - Coordinator: UPC-Barcelona (Spain) ( M. Novell)
