We can see the forms of international economic integration below:
Free trade zones. This is the simplest form of economic integration. In this form, trade restrictions are eliminated or totally removed. Although it increases the fear of national producers, it improves their competitiveness as well.
Customs union. This form of integration involves its participants to fix similar tariffs and doing similar international trade policy to a third party;
Payment union. It helps participants to exchange national currencies freely and to calculate payments in a single standard currency;
General market. This is a quite comlex form of integration. Not only does it provide free trade and a single trade tariffs, but also it gives the opportunity of labour and capital mobility within participating countries;
Economic and currency union. This is the highest form of economic integration. In this form, all the forms above cooperate with doing general economic, financial and currency policy
