Stand-off in Armenian capital ended

Muslims in high places concerning Fijian politician. Fijian coup d'etat leader and now PM has a deputy and running mate named Ayoub Kayum who is a Muslim. But one politician is concerned that other Muslims are also infiltrating the country's political offices.

30/9/16, "The end is nigh". Words of an Australian commentator (Ms Kerry-Anne Walsh) talking about some unusually heavy storms in South Australia. On the way to work that morning one came across a film poster (refer next item) with another variation on this theme:

30/9/16, X-Men Apocalypse Nigh". Words on a film advertisement on a wall poster. These are more flippant refences to the times predicted in the Bible as "The Last Days". Although people are well enough aware of the general points made by the Bible, no one actually discusses the matter from any serious or analytical perspective. What follows is a brief analysis of the Last Days.

In Hebrews 1:2, the author says "In these Last Days God has spoken through His Son" and that is clearly Jesus of Nazareth. Considering the Bible as a whole, the "Last Days" here is effectively defined as the period that follows from Jesus' Ascension until His Second Coming. To date, 1986 years have passed since the Ascenscion. Again from a perspective of the the full Bible, and considering here its chronology, Mankind went through two previous eras of 2000 years before this one defined as "The Last Days Era" by Hebrews. The two previous ones were the Era from Adam to Abraham which was a two millennium period when Conscience ruled or at least moderated fallen men's behaviour. After that a two millennium period from Abraham to Jesus was set aside so that our Conscience would be further jolted by a System of Law for Israel, which only pricked the conscience even more (Romans 5:20). Non-Jews could join in or participate in this system if they converted, circumcised (men only) and took on the burdens and blessings of the Laws of Moses. That was a particular option available to Gentiles in that era which took its time to get into gear because of severl failings by the Israelites themselves. But men failed both tests of both eras.

So came the third era of the "Last Days" which, from the Book of Hebrews perspective in its opening verses, was the Christendom era when believers, not the world in general, used Jesus' Words and commandments he permitted His Apostles (rabbis) to announce for the Congregation of Christ. We call this last era "Christendom". Unfortunately, throughout much of it, or until about 1648 (Treaty of Westphalia) princes and churchmen tried to enforce Christ's Laws on others. That ws in the mistaken belief they were to impose the Kingdom of God on men their way not God's Way which is to usher it in with the return of His Only Begotten Son, Jesus of Nazareth, the World's Saviour soteriologically and physically. Under the Covenant God made with all men via Noah and his sons, Governments are to set laws to rule and regulate society's behaviour. Hopefully most people will of their own volition, voluntarily choose to complement society's rules via Government, required by God after the Great Flood, with the pattern and standard of behaviour that Jesus encouraged for His followers.

However, the problems and failures inherited from these eras would come to a head towards the end of the Third because of the sin of Adam, in particular the accumulated knowledge base which would increasingly get outside Man's control towards the end. That time would be signified by the ubiquity of the touch-tronic computer that Adam and Eve touched and consumed from in Eden. There would come a time when man's knowledge and systems would eventually lead him into trouble with his morals, environment, politics, economy, social systems, and even his health as the after-effects of the Fall begin to show up, aggregate, accumulate and, in particular, intensify and magnify in the defective genomes of each and every species. Problems in the Environment and Economy would also magnify and intensify. In the Bible these are the days of Daniel 12:4 & 9: "These words are sealed up until the time of the end" (verse 4) and "end of time" verse 12. Daniel 12:4 also pointed out that knowledge and travel would greatly increase at that end time. We now know from the science of knowledge itself and from economics that travel and knowledge have a lot in common. In Daniel 9:24-27, The 'last' Last Days of both Hebrews 1:2 and then Daniel 12:4 & 9 are completed with a specific seven-year period known as The Tribulation. It is in that period that the apocalypse of Revelation takes place. That's what the Apocalypse and its four horsemen is!

The Apocalypse is noit the End of the World! It merely brings various things to a head. At the end of the Apocalypse Jesus returns to firstly renovate a badly damaged and polluted Earth. Then Jesus ushers in a millennium where He will rule directly over a world of carnal men and women who survive the Apocalypse in belief along with resurrected believers of the three previous eras who are all covered by the Blood Sacrifice of Jesus of Nazareth. Those living in the first two eras believed on the Promised Deliverer, announced to Adam and Eve, who turned out to be Jesus of Nazareth. Those of the Third and Last era actually know the Promised Deliverer is Jesus of Nazareth. However, they also know and must confess Jesus of Nazareth paid the Blood Price with His death, burial and resurrection.

Just before the world's problems caused by Adam's and our Sin come to a head, Jesus of Nazareth will take out the living believers in the Last Days, instantaneously translate their bodies into a resurrected body and resurrect all the other dead believers. He will take all believers up to that point, "The Rapture", to Heaven to attend or be part of the Wedding to Christ. All believers between AD 30 and The Rapture, i.e., the Bride of Christ are the Church of Christ, His Bride. Other saints before AD 30 are Friends of the Groom. Between the Rapture and the end of the Tribulation, those who become believers enter the Millennial Kingdom and procreate the people who in the Millennium of Peace and Goodness decide whether to follow Jesus and obey God or decide to go to damnation instead. At end of the Tribulation, Jesus of Nazareth returns to Earth to save Israel from the Antichrist-666 who becomes the main player in the Tribulation and garners the world to destroy Israel.

Among other signs, the Jews' return to Israel, the world-wide unrest and nations killing themselves, the Days of Noah signified by the Global Warming as the iced-up flood waters at the Poles begin to melt, a world governance system radically altered etc., signify that "The End is Nigh", not Hollywood films. Nor is the nearness of the end of days signified by an Australian commentator's description of an unusually bad storm. Not even if that storm is another indicator that the South Pole is coming under great strain with the warming process that is ultimately a problem caused by the Earth's interior not exterior.

Those wanting to join The Rapture, a most advisable and acceptable option, need to acknowledge God's Plan for fallen Man, the redemption price Jesus paid and believe He is their Saviour. One has to accept one is The Sinner Jesus died for and that one is the Adam who brought all this mess on everyone. We are all deemed guilty of Adam's mistake. By accepting the truth of that, Jesus can bring men and women into God's Planned Eternal Kingdom. Otherwise, it is the place where eternal darkness, weeping and gnashing of teeth take place and that is likely to be the least bad section of that Eternal Gloom.

30/9/16, Syrian Government now dropping bunker-busting bombs. From a news bulletin item. And the Russians seem to be supplying them. These bombs can hit people hiding underground which is how civilians and resistance fighters are surviving the Syrian Government onslaught. Chlorine and Phospherous bombs are also being used to help flush people out.

30/9/16, "Deliberate decision to kill everyone or expel them". From the same news bulletin above. This is partly why we think these crises around the Middle East, parts of West Asia and Africa are fomented, i.e., to collect a massive horde of dispossessed people and drive them toward Israel which has no defence against such an onslaught. God has though as is described in Ezekiel 38:21-22.
