Software Developer / Team Leader

I first joined Amadeus as a contractor developer working on the specification and prototyping of the new Departure Control System front-end application (Java Swing GUI) for British Airways and Qantas.

My role then evolved to a more senior position where I was deeply involved in the software architecture design and development.

In October 2003, I joined Amadeus as a full time permanent employee.

While managing a team of 5 to 10 developers, I have been responsible for the design, implementation and testing of three consecutive software delivery phases of the front-end application.

Always keeping very close to the code and development, I also had to deal with customers relationships on a regular basis.

I have been working on Mobile Code Security doing some research and development applied to JAVA Security. My role was to modify the JVM in order to be able to handle proof-carrying code (code description and mathematical proof embedded in java classes byte code).

This development was done with Java 1.2 on Sun Solaris.
