Pronunciation

Pronunciation is developed perfectly. They can pronounce like native speakers. They can also work with transcription well.

The pronunciation is developed well. They can pronounce some words like native speakers. However they have problem with working on transcription.

The pronunciation is not developed well. They can pronounce like native speakers but only a few words. They do not know how to work with transcription.


REFLECTION
The topic for this lesson plan is “What are you watching?” and there is information about television and entertainment. Therefore, all activities are about those. Actually, in our course books there is an integration of language skills and language aspects, for instance in this lesson plan this kind of situation also happens, because I try to explain the new topic with the help of [L], [S] and [W]. I used PPP models in this plan. Although this model is a bit traditional, but still it is very effective while teaching process. For each section I made an activity, pre, while and post activity. I opened the lesson with warm up activity and this activity is necessary for students to prepare them to new topic and give them a chance to think and analyze something, besides them they can take motivation from this process. This warm up activity is not about new topic, because it should not be like that. Next activity have an integration such as [L] + [V], [P]; [W]+ [V]+ [G] or [S]+[G]+ [V]. In this type of teaching method students can learn a grammar topic as well as they can improve their language skills. Additionally, I used Communicative Language Teaching approach and deductive method in this lesson plan. In terms of role play or pantomime Total Physical Response is also considered as an approach. This approaches which are considered as a modern way of teaching can really assist to students to build a good conversation with each other in English language. The two objectives are also given simply and at the end of the lesson the instructor achieves the both objectives.
