4.2. Stable factors and their types.
Stable (variable) factors have the character of less change in terms of time. These factors include natural-climatic, geographical, cultural-historical. If we analyze the geographical factors, these factors affect the right choice of tourist routes, the convenience of transport, the cost of recreational resources, the seasonal development of tourism .
In turn, the division of geographical factors into two groups has become widespread. These are:
- economic geographical factors.
Natural conditions have a great impact on the development of international tourism in the regions. Due to the highly industrialized nature of our modern society, people’s interest in wildlife is increasing. Natural geographical factors are evaluated in many ways. We will focus on the basics below.
The climate has affected the periodicity of tourism, leading some coastal resorts to be overcrowded with tourists due to the year-round warm climate (Mauritius can be cited as an example). Natural climatic conditions are the main factor that makes the tourist movement seasonal. Climate change in nature, frequent recurrences of natural disasters, natural whims will cause a sharp decline in the flow of tourists. Therefore, the most developed regions of tourism fall into the temperate climate zones of the globe. In particular, tourism is of international importance in countries located on the shores of the Mediterranean, Black Sea, Caribbean, Adriatic, Baltic, Japanese and South China Seas.
The flora and fauna are also of great interest. The forests attract tourists who are relaxing and walking in the bosom of nature. The forest, with its oxygen-rich reserves, is an important tourist attraction for health restorers. Therefore, botanical gardens, various resorts, national parks are crowded places for tourists. One of the factors that attracts more foreign tourists is the fact that exotic (strange, wonderful) animal habitats are nature reserves, state orders, national parks, special areas set aside for hunting. The centers of such fauna and flora are more than a hundred, which are the tourist regions and territories of Africa, Asia, Europe, Australia, America (USA, Canada).
