Core Philosophies Engineering Education is our primary goal – and we do it well. Students learn Engineering by Practicing Engineering – Experiential Learning Labs include: Materials Processing, Problem Solving w/ Computers, Measurement Instrumentation & Control, Engineering Design Graphics, Thermo-Fluids Lab I & II, Mechanics Lab, Material Science Lab, ACT Lab, Numerical Methods, System Dynamics Class sizes are modest – Typically 8-12 students in labs, approx. 36 students in ME lectures, studio labs around 24 students Co-op is an integral aspect of our program, and is mandatory Offer sufficient options and electives to allow students to customize their education
