Investıgatıon of Electrıcal Propertıes of TlSbSe2 Compound
In this work, TlSbSe2 layer crystals which were grown by the using Bridgman-Stockbarger technique were used and Au electrodes were formed parallel and perpendicular to the layers. The current and voltage characteristics for these samples were analyzed in ~10-5 Torr vacuum with a voltage range of 1-1000 Volts and a temperature range between 233 K and 373 K. From our analysis, we determined the existing and dominant DC conductivity mechanisms as well as the types of observed electrical switching. To define whether it shows electrical anisotropy, Indium electrodes, both parallel and perpendicular to the layers, were prepared and the current-voltage ( I-V) characteristics of TlSbSe2 between 0-60 volts and between 233- 353 K were carried out. The electrical conductivity of the material was investigated and found to be anisotropic. The relationship between the threshold voltage and series resistance and temperature were also analyzed.
