Determining of Flora and Vegetatıon in the Distribution Areas of Pontine Oak (Quercus pontica C. Koch.) In this study, we aimed to determine the flora and vegetation of Quercus pontica C. Koch (Pontine Oak). The research was conducted in eight different areas of Artvin and Rize. One hundred plant species were collected as a result of the field trips conducted in 2013-2014. A total of 53 genera belong to 23 families and 56 taxa included in these genera were identified in the areas. Cluster and ordination methods were used for vegetation analysis. The sample areas were divided into two groups by this analysis result. While five of the sample areas were in Group I, three of them were in Group II.
