Photometrıc Study of Open Cluster NGC 6811
CCD UBVRI photometric observations of the open stellar cluster NGC 6811 (2000 = 19h 37m 17s, 2000 = +46o 23' 18" and l = 79.210, b = +12.015) located in the Orion-Cygnus arm of the Milky Way Galaxy were obtained on 18th July 2012 in the TÜBİTAK National Observatory (TUG) with T100 telescope whose primary mirror has diameter of 100 cm. During the observing run, photometric standards were also observed. The CCD UBVRI observations of the NGC 6811 open cluster were reduced and the transformation and extinction coefficients, which were calculated from the observations of standard stars, were used to calculate photometric magnitudes of stars in the cluster field. Thus structural and astrophysical parameters of the cluster were estimated. Using the King profile, central density and effective radius of the cluster were found f0 = 1.35 ± 0.03 star/arcmin2 and rc = 3.12 ± 0.09 arcmin, respectively. By using Bayesian statistics, colour excess, distance modulus, metallicity, and age of the cluster were simultaneously estimated E(B-V) = 0.05 0.01, (m-M)V = 10.20 0.18, [M/H] = -0.10 0.01 dex and t = 1 0.025 Gyr, respectively. These parameters were also estimated by independent methods. The results obtained from simultaneous solution and the independent methods are in agreement.
