A Research on the Black Pıne (pinus nigra) Natural Generatıon Activities ın Cerkes İsmetpasa Forest Drectorıes
In this study, the effect of different equipments, which are used in soil tillage, on regeneration success were examined and some suggestions were given according to the results. Twelve experimental plots were placed randomly in the study area. The size of each experimental plots are 4 m². Experimental plots were seeded equally with a total number of 2304 (48 seeds per m2) seeds in April 2012. After that, the number of seedling survival were recorded every month from May to November in 2012. Also, seedling survival were recorded again in november 2013 and growth of thirty seedlings which are selected randomly from all of the study area were examined. As a result of this study, it was found that soil treatment with machine is more successful in semi arid regions like Cerkes. Plowing method as a mechanical soil cultivation is economically more advantageous in first years. But the success and quality of young generations were better in soil treatment with ripper method compared to plowing. According to the research results, ripper soil treatment should use in such areas.
