The Study on Accesibility of Disabled People at Parks: the Case of İstanbul- Göztepe 60th Anniversary Park
The aim of this study , the case of Göztepe 60 Anniversary Park, for the purpose of serving all the people in the park is to examine the accessibility the disabled people. In the literature section of the study the concept of disability is explained and related legislation with disabilities are mentioned. After explaining the problems faced by individuals with disabilities in the park, the park, accessibility of our country and our world examples are shown. In the next chapter the research area is introduced , in the findings section observation and assessment form prepared for the research area and analysis layout in the park with the design, urban furniture and function space, the design principles and standards compliance has been investigated. In this perspective under the disability profiles with physical disabilities (mobility-impaired, wheelchair-dependent disabled persons, arms and hands disabled people), visually impaired, hearing impaired, mentally disordered, speech impaired, disabilities specified as others and the elderly user profile is included. Sonrasında engelliler parkta karşılaştıkları sorunlar ile dünyamızdan ve ülkemizden erişilebilirliği olan park örnekleri gösterilmiştir.Research results with the data obtained in the park's accessibility by individuals with disabilities and problems encountered in the park revealed and solutions to problems are presented with examples.
