Synthesis Of Some Novel Benzoxazole Compounds
In this study, various benzoxazole derivatives were synthesized between an aminophenol and a carboxylic acid via cyclisation reactions.

Nine new compounds were synthesized with reaction of 2-amino-4-methylphenol with 2-bromo-4-chlorobenzoic acid, 4-chloro-2,5-difluorobenzoic acid, 2-chloro-4,5-difluorobenzoic acid, 2-bromo-5-chlorobenzoic acid, 5-chloro-2-methylbenzoic acid, 3,4-dichlorobenzoic acid, 2-chlorobenzoic acid, 3-chlorobenzoic acid, 2,4-dichlorobenzoic acid in PPA.

Structures of the synthesized compounds are characterized by IR, ¹H-NMR, ¹³C-NMR, Fluorescence and MS.
