Investıgatıon Of Adsorptıon Of Actıve Pharmaceutıcal Ingredıent On Varıous Adsorbents
In the experimental section, the time of equilibrium was indicated for the adsorption of ciprofloxacin hydrochloride with active carbon, carbon nanotube, alumina, montmorillonite and amine montmorillonite adsorbents.
Equilibrium concentrations of ciprofloxacin hydrochloride after adsorption process was measured by UV spectrophotometer. Linearity studies between concentration and absorbance were done and correlation factors were determined for ciprofloxacin hydrochloride.
Adsorption isotherms of ciprofloxacin for each adsorbent using equilibrium concentrations were shown on graphics and determined parameters related to this adsorption isoterms. Adsorption capacity of adsorbents used in this study ciprofloxacin hydrochloride were determined according to the experimental results. Adsorption capacity increase with increasing Freundlich isotherm constants.
